Nozbö Ne̜t Ner (/ˈnozbo˞/ /ne̜t/ [heavy] [juice]) is a temperate Town located in the Strömo̠w Moot of the Viceroyalty of Rosid.

The name Nozbö Ne̜t Ner is derived from the Wood Elvish language, as Nozbö Ne̜t Ner was founded by Curulaeril Shumarza, who was culturaly Wood Elven.

Climate

Nozbö Ne̜t Ner has a yearly average temperature of 8°C (46°F), with its average temperature during the summer being an icy 27°C (80°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cold -11°C (13°F). Nozbö Ne̜t Ner receives an average of 153 cm/y (60 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of snow during the pleasantly short winter months. Nozbö Ne̜t Ner covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 3360 m (11023 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Nozbö Ne̜t Ner was founded durring the late 13th century in spring of the year 1253, by Curulaeril Shumarza. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Curulaeril Shumarza.

Nozbö Ne̜t Ner was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Nozbö Ne̜t Ner is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Nozbö Ne̜t Ner is is constructed arround a series of premissive flagstone mainstreets which form overlapping circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town has a fortified albit thin brick wall. The wall has most of the feeatures of a typical castle wall, just on a much smaller scale and and budget. Notably brick isn't a particuarly soild choice for resisting siege weapons. Nozbö Ne̜t Ner's wall wouldn't hinder a proper army, but it is more than sufishent for bandits and other small marauding groups. The town's monster and outlaw focused fortifications are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with routine mantance of the town's defences.

A look around Nozbö Ne̜t Ner makes it abundantly clear the town suffered something horrible some time ago. It’s a quiet town filled with closed scriptoriums, people quietly yet dejectedly reading in isolated places around town, and the occasional book laying in a heap of garbage.

Cultural Notes

Nozbö Ne̜t Ner's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by towering round arches, massive stone and brickwork, small windows, thick walls, and a propensity for housing art and sculpture depicting mythological scenes. The building's general shape would be a clever and ascetic combination of geometric shapes, which would be blended together by joining elements. The style's decorative features were largely internal rather than external and incorporated semicircular arches for windows, doors, and arcades; barrel or groin vaults to support the roof of the nave; massive piers and walls, with few windows, to contain the outward thrust of the vaults; side aisles with galleries above them..

Due to the actions of local Kami, winter is skipped in Nozbö Ne̜t Ner.

The Gravebound near Nozbö Ne̜t Ner are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.

Nozbö Ne̜t Ner's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves square dance to channel Conjuration energies of tier 3 via recitation of poetic epics.
